N.C.--have 225 acres in the forks of Yadkin River on Dutchmans Creek & bank of Moses Creek where said Knatzer now lives, witnessed by ? & John Brevard & proved by the latter in May court of 1783. Beginning on the bank of Moses Creek at a pine, going west 15 chains to a black oak, north 65 chains to a hickory, east 65 chains to a black oak, south 41 chains to a black oak, south 86 degrees west 25 chains & 44 links to a pine, north 45 degrees west 23 chains to a pine, south 86 degrees west 10 chains & 44 links to a hickory, south 2 degrees east 22 chains to a beech on the bank of Moses Creek, then down its various courses to the beginning, for 160 pounds specie.

Jan 13, 1786: The land grant of Jan 5, 1779 in Rutherford Co, NC was surveyed in that part of Rutherford Co which was originally in Burke Co and became Cleveland County , NC . Chainbearers for the survey were Joseph Bullin and Jacob Knartzer.

May 18, 1789, Land grant of Jan 5, 1779 and survey of Jan 13, 1786 was granted by the Court.

Aug 24, 1793: John Hetterbrand, Adminstrator of the estate of Christopher Conester deceased of the County of Rutherford, NC, impowered James Chitwood or his heirs to make a title to a 50 acre tract of land "on the waters of Wards Creek which was entered by Christopher Conester and the said place that Daniel Workman now lives on".
