Oct 27, 1764: Conrod Arrant & wife Elizabeth of ? let George Christopher Knertzer of York County, Pennsylvania , have 558 acres on the north side of Grants Creek next George Bruner & John Long, for 5 shillings--the release price being 10 pounds on ? day--witnessed by John Lewis Beard & Daniel Little & proved in Jan. 1765. (This had been granted by Earl Granville to Conrod Michel on Dec. 21 1761 & he let Conrod Arrant & Conrod Michel have it July 21 1762). :Lease and release from Coonrod Aarant & wife to Christopher Knotzer 26-27 Oct. 1765.

Jan, 10, 1765: George Bruner, a blacksmith & wife Barbara, let George Christopher Knertzer, a planter, have 700 acres on both side Grants Creek on the west side of Yadkin River next John Long & James Carson, for 5 shillings--the release price being 285 pounds PA money on next day--witnessed by John Braly & John Lewis Beard. (Earl Granville let George Bruner have this on April 2 1761). :Lease & release from George Bruner & wife to Christopher Knetzer for 700 acres Jan 10, 1765 is proved by John Lewis Beard.

April 11, 1765: George Christopher Knortzor (writes well and no wife signs) lets Peter Smith--both of Rowan Co.N.C.--have 8 acres next James Carson & said Knortzer, for 2 pounds & 10 shillings proclamation money, witnessed by John Braly & George Smith & acknowledged in Oct. 1765. (This is part of the land which George Bruner let the said Knertzer have). : Deed from George Christopher Natzer to Peter Smith for 8 acres April 11, 1765 proved by J. Brawley.

Oct 16, 1766: George Christopher Knertzer & wif Eve (X) to Casper Miller for 110 PA money, 540 3/4 A on N side Grants Crk adj Geo Bruner & John Long sold him by Conrod Arrant 27 Oct. 1764 except 17 1/4 A Knertzer reserves for himself. John Braly, Danl Little. Prvd Oct. Court 1766. :Lease & release from Geor Christopher Katzer & wf to Casper Miller for 540 acres 16 Oct. 1766 prvd by Daniel Little (6:318).

Jan 14, 1767, George Christopher Knertzer (he writes well) & wife Eve (makes her mark) let George Bruner--all of Rowan Co, N.C.--have 709 1/2 acres on Grants Creek next John Long & James Carson, for 5 shillings--release price being 285 pounds on the next day--witnessed by William Steel & John Braly & recorded in Jan. 1767. (Said Bruner let said Knertzer have this & he let Peter Smith have 8 acres of it which is reserved as is the tract of 17 1/4 acres which said Knertzer reserved out of a tract which he conveyed to Casper Miller). :Lease & release from George Chris Knatzer & wife to George Brooner for 709 1/4 acres Jan. 14-15, 1767 proved by John Braly.

Jan 23, 1767, Charles (H) Hunter & wf Mary (O) to George Christopher Knertzer for 86 proc, 225 A on Dutchmans Crk. John (H) Hendry, Christopher (B) Booh, William Roberts. Prvd Apr. Court 1767.

Apr. 14, 1767, II:687: Deed from Charles Hunter to Geo Chris Katzer for 225 acres 23 Jan. 1767 prvd by John Hendry (6:424).

May 19, 1770: Charles Hunter & wife Mary let George Christopher Knertzer--all of Rowan Co. N.C.--have 225 acres in forks of Yadkin River on waters of Dutchmans Creek where said Knertzer now lives on bank of Moses Creek , for 5 shillings--the release price being 86 pounds on next day--witnessed by ? & Edwd. Hughes. (Part of 445 acres Earl Granville sold to said Hunter on Feb 23, 1769).

May 6, 1772: George Christopher Knertzer, a farmer, & wife Eve, (sign like foreigners) let Jacob Fulwider have 397 1/2 acres on Grants Creek, for 85 pounds, witnessed by John Braly & John Lewis Beard & acknowledged in May 1772. (Daniel Little, John Lewis Beard & Conrad Mickel got it by lease and release from John Howard and wife Mary on Dec 29-30 1761 & they let Knortzer have it on July 10-11 1764).

Oct 27, 1782: George Christopher Knatzer a German?, & wife Eve let David Nesbit--all of Rowan Co. N.C.--have 225 acres in the forks of Yadkin River on Dutchmans Creek & bank of Moses Creek where said Knatzer now lives, witnessed by ? & John Brevard & proved by the latter in May court of 1783. Beginning on the bank of Moses Creek at a pine, going west 15 chains to a black oak, north 65 chains to a hickory, east 65 chains to a black oak, south 41 chains to a black oak, south 86 degrees west 25 chains & 44 links to a pine, north 45 degrees west 23 chains to a pine, south 86 degrees west 10 chains & 44 links to a hickory, south 2 degrees east 22 chains to a beech on the bank of Moses Creek, then down its various courses to the beginning, for 160 pounds specie.
May 9, 1783, Deeds proved: Christopher + Eve Knatzer to David Nesbett 225 A October 27, 1782 proved by Wm Butler.

Jan 13, 1786: The land grant of Jan 5, 1779 in Rutherford Co, NC was surveyed in that part of Rutherford Co which was originally in Burke Co and became Cleveland County , NC . Chainbearers for the survey were Joseph Bullin and Jacob Knartzer.

May 18, 1789, Land grant of Jan 5, 1779 and survey of Jan 13, 1786 was granted by the Court.

Aug 24, 1793: John Hetterbrand, Adminstrator of the estate of Christopher Conester deceased of the County of Rutherford, NC, impowered James Chitwood or his heirs to make a title to a 50 acre tract of land "on the waters of Wards Creek which was entered by Christopher Conester and the said place that Daniel Workman now lives on". Samuel Carpenter, Samuel Swan and Benjamin Beaver were witnesses.
