She and Jabez Beard immigrated circa 1833? to Lauderdale County, Alabama. They appeared on the census of 1840 at Lauderdale County, Alabama; the census of 30 Oct 1850 at Lauderdale County, Alamaba; she and Abner Hamilton Beard Sr. appeared on the census of 1860 at Lauderdale County, Alabama. She appeared on the census of 1870 at Lauderdale County, Alabama, and died on 24 Apr 1885 at Cloverdale, Lauderdale County, Alabama, at age 86. Her husband died 17 Oct 1854.
